Its façade originally formed part of the defensive wall surrounding the area where the potters had their workshops and studios. One of the notable features of the building is the "Cuadra Dorada" with its painted wooden-beamed ceiling. The tower is the only original part of the building and the other parts of the house were subsequently built around this. It currently houses a Local Arts and Traditions Museum.
